Your vision, produced by School Kit

You know exactly what you want to create. You can picture it clearly. But somewhere between your vision and the printer, the magic gets lost. You're an expert in your field, not a designer - and that's exactly as it should be.

We can help you with that.

Can School Kit help?

We take ideas that live in your head and turn them into things people can hold, share, distribute and sell. Through our network of trusted makers and designers, we bring concepts to life, craft them with care, produce them to last and package them to impress.

You bring the expertise, we bring the craft.

  • Perfect. A blank page and your vision is the perfect starting point. We'll work together to shape it into something beautiful, then guide it all the way through production.

  • We love a prototype. It shows us what you're thinking. We'll refine the design, solve the production challenges, and deliver something you're proud to put your name on.

  • You've proven it works - now let's make it shine. We'll take what you've learned, elevate the design and production quality, and help you scale without compromising on craft.

  • This is your work, your name, your vision. We're the makers behind the scenes - we bring the design craft and production expertise, but the programme stays entirely yours. If you’d like us to deliver your programme as well then let’s chat.

  • Our designers don't just make things look good - they think about how they'll be used, held, and experienced. They bring intelligence to every choice they make, whether you're creating something for classrooms, workplaces, or anywhere in between.

  • Whether it is card sets, felt pennants, kit set cars or enamel badges, our makers often specialise in a single product. They bring precision, knowledge and care to production. Many are based offshore, which means we've learned how to manage complex international manufacturing without compromising on quality.

  • Getting things made overseas and delivered to New Zealand requires serious coordination. We work with our logistics partners to handle freight, customs, timing, and all the complexity in between. It means your finished product arrives when it should, exactly as it should, without you having to think about shipping containers or border paperwork.

  • We work with printers who treat every job like it matters. They understand paper weight, finish, and colour in ways that transform good design into something you want to pick up and keep. The details they care about are the ones you'll notice.

 FAQs

  • Absolutely. You own it completely - the IP, the rights, the finished product. We're makers. You pay for the service, and what we create together is yours to sell, distribute, or use however you choose.

  • You can bring your own design if you'd like. We'll review it to make sure it's production-ready and we might suggest refinements if we spot ways to improve quality or reduce costs. Your designer will need to know how to prepare industry ready files for manufacture and printing. If you'd rather we handle the design from scratch, we're set up for that too.

  • It depends on what you're making. Some production methods have natural minimums, but we'll always work to find the most sensible approach for your project. Get in touch and we can talk through the specifics.

  • Not at all. School Kit Publishing is a separate service. You don't need to be delivering your project through the School Kit Squad or have us manage your programme to use our pulishing service - you just need an idea you want to bring to life.

  • No. School Kit is our brand for our own teaching programmes. What we make together is yours, under your name and your brand. We're proud to be the makers behind it, but it's your work entirely.
