Narrative perspective

This activity teaches narrative point of view as a creative choice. The same scene becomes four different stories depending on who is telling it. The non-human point of view step is the curriculum content. It forces the student to imagine consciousness outside their own and notice what shifts when the observer is not human. Students will write “the dog felt sad” and stop. Push them past that. What does the dog see at floor height? What does the dog smell? The animal POV opens up the activity because it gives permission to leave the human frame entirely.
