The Kit.
Year 4-8 students: Join as Drafts in a creativity club with an unseen HQ. Build the big projects together first, construct a class artwork from found scraps, climb inside a poem and learn it by heart, invent a world for stories to live in. Then fan out across 32 creative task cards, each one a real writing or art technique in disguise. Fill journals with ideas, attempts and creations. Learn to say something true about each other's work without flattening the maker. Hang your work beside a statement, get inducted as a Member, and send your best piece of writing to Toitoi, the journal that honours New Zealand children's artwork and creative writing.

Your Physical Kit
Our kits are beautiful, physical, tangible, tactile things (with digital components built in). They are designed to be used and transformed by students into learning keepsakes. If you register for the Mō Āpōpō Future-Makers kit then you’ll also be granted access to a private kit page within our network where you’ll be able to access prompt support from a member of our School Kit Team to ensure your teaching experience is awesome.
